Music

My interest in music is quite strange to some people. I seem to appreciate a lot of older music because it has way more talent, in my opinion, than music these days. The genres of music I listen to vary from alternative rock and pop. I do like some country, but not a huge fan of it. Some bands I can name off include:
   - Metallica
   - Stone Temple Pilots
   - Led Zeppelin
   - Green Day
   - The Ramones
   - Sublime
   - Linkin Park
   - Pink Floyd
   - System of a Down
   - Slipknot
   - Creedance Clearwater Revival
   - Never Shout Never
   - Black Sabbath
   - The Ronettes
   - Frank & Nancy Sinatra
   - Nirvana

The list can go on and on for days. I have many reasons for why I choose not to listen to music that other people my age listen to. Most music that everyone listens to now is always about stuff that has no meaning to it nor does it have talent. So many "musicians" nowadays use computers to correct their vocals and use it for the background music. I have grown up as a baby listening to my dad's music. He had also taught me different things about music. Such as the history behind punk music, etc. Music that has purpose behind it is so much more special, especially if I can relate to it in some way.
